Tim always had a passion for poultry. He started raising heritage breeds in 2010. Over the years, he's had about 18 breeds. Robyn did not have a passion for poultry. A condition of their marriage was that she could have goats, although the chickens are growing on her.
Off farm, Tim works as an environmental scientist with a passion for sustainable agriculture. Tim is also the co-creator of The Homestead Show and Market that takes place every spring in Fort Macleod, which has sales as well as educational workshops for attendees. Robyn is currently an English instructor with years of experience working with producers in agricultural industry groups.
We are located on an acreage in Cardston County with a beautiful view of Chief Mountain. We have horses, goats, poultry, and of course, dogs and cats. The poultry enjoy foraging free range during the day and get locked up safe in a barn at night. In the winter, timed lights keep them happy and laying.
If Robyn can become a chicken convert, anyone can! We want everyone to be able to enjoy farm fresh eggs from healthy, happy heritage birds that will lay for years.
